About Pure Vital Body
Pure Vital Body exists because most weight-loss content online falls into one of two categories: generic advice with no depth, or product-first content dressed up as advice. We wanted to build something in between — genuinely useful information about weight loss, nutrition, and healthy habits, written by someone actually trying to get it right, with product recommendations treated as a secondary, clearly labeled part of the site rather than its entire purpose.
What we believe
Sustainable weight loss comes down to a small number of things that matter — a reasonable calorie deficit, adequate protein, consistent sleep, and habits you can actually maintain — surrounded by a lot of marketing noise that doesn't. Our job is to help you tell the difference.
Who writes this
Content on Pure Vital Body is researched and written by Dana Whitfield, drawing on peer-reviewed research and guidance from established health organizations including the NIH, CDC, and published nutrition science. Dana is not a licensed medical professional, and this site does not provide individualized medical advice — see our full editorial policy for how content is researched and reviewed.
How we handle products and affiliate links
Some pages on this site include affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you. We disclose this clearly on every page where it applies. We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive review, and we do not fabricate personal-use claims about products we haven't genuinely tested. Read our full affiliate disclosure for details.
What this site is not
Pure Vital Body is an educational resource, not a medical provider, a personalized coaching service, or a guarantee of specific results. Weight loss and health outcomes vary by individual, and content here should be discussed with a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes, particularly if you have an existing health condition.
